I can’t remember a time when I haven’t created things – be it from fabric, junk, clay, paint, you name it! As a profession I translated this into being a Wardrobe Supervisor. With a degree in Costume for the Stage and Screen I design and make costumes for theatre. In my spare time my creativity flows through embroidery, fibre arts, clothing and accessories.
Salvaged Mutiny is my way of getting my ideas out into the world. I am an artist at heart and work with any materials I can get my hands on. Mixed Media art is my passion – though it took me a while to realise it! I collect things that I find – visually and physically - and turn them into something beautiful; a continuing memory of my journey through the world.
Here is a brief run down of my professional career:
After gaining a degree in Costume for the Screen and Stage from the Arts Institute At Bournemouth, England in 2005 I began work as a wardrobe supervisor. Working for such companies in Britain as Spirit of the Dance, Evolution Productions, International Workshop Theatre and Theatre Nomad, I toured the UK and worked locally on pantomime, dance review, interpretive movement and drama productions; most notable being The Spirit of Christmas UK Tour and Uncle Vanya for the Canterbury Festival.

I began work for the Jean Ann Ryan Company in 2007 embarking on a career on cruise ships. Whilst part of Jean Ann Ryan I have had the pleasure of working on Cameron Macintosh’s Hey Mr Producer, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Maskerade, Saturday Night Fever produced in conjunction with Stigwood productions and various styles of performance including dance, cirque-style, latin, Bollywood, Hip-hop, Country, Show Girl and Rock.
Finally, in 2010 I was offered the opportunity to work for NCL productions and Nickelodeon at Sea, taking care of such characters as Sponge Bob Square Pants, Dora the Explorer, Aang the Last Air Bender and Patrick Star.
I continue to work on cruise ships where I can do the job I love, follow my artistic passions and see the world.
